Capturing Without Prejudice

Saya suka foto-foto..
Saya pun senang jalan-jalan.. (well, who doesn’t?)

Sekali-sekali posting instagram pun stok-stok foto lama, kamera mendadak berdebu, handphone cuma kepake untuk twitter-an.

So all of the sudden.. I wondered why?

So I had this theory, it might not be true.. but hey, if it might not be true, it might not be wrong as well:

I stop doing what I also love, which is capturing things around with my phone or camera?

DUH.. NOOOO.
I don’t wanna do that.
I don’t wannabe that.

I don’t care. I should do something.

But how?
I’m not really good at making moments of the stuffs that don’t breathe.
Or things that aren’t mountains or oceans..

So I sit for a while.. took a deep breath.. and started browsing Instagram.
For the sake of getting inspiration.

After minutes..
I started producing things.. It was not that good, but I was really proud of myself.

I’ve learned something.
Which says that I have to learn a lot about photography without prejudice.
Even the small cup of coffee may delight my eyes.. let alone people’s eyes.. it’s for their own to decide.

I’ve learned that sometimes we should push a daily object to pull out the beauty inside by pushing the limitation of ourselves.

Hope you got my point.

Bicara tentang belajar photography without prejudice, ternyata bisa “memaksa” kita untuk lebih socially aware, lebih sensitif sama keadaan sekitar, lebih berusaha menggali.. there must be something more of a thing or even someone.

It’s a good thing, kan?

Btw.. after my first attempt of making moments of cups. Saya ketagihan, dan muncul lah beberapa percobaan angle secangkir kopi (or tea) pagi untuk kemudian dengan senangnya share to instagram:

Lalu kemudian berhenti posting setelah ambil foto ini:
